The Role
The primary focus of this role will be providing care a women’s hormone specialist. A secondary role will be providing care as a regenerative medicine specialist.
You will be responsible for providing a high standard of patient care which includes but is not limited to diagnosis, clear explanation of diagnosis and treatment to patient, treatment, coordination of care, and clinical research. You will be expected to follow the guidelines and best practices that our team has spent years creating.
Ultimately, your job is to provide care for the Ethos patients and ensure they have a full understanding of their plans of care.
The Tasks
- Understand the patient’s goals and expectations of their visits
- Obtain a thorough health history and perform physical examinations
- Order and review diagnostic imaging and tests
- Create a tailored treatment plan that meets the patient’s goals and expectations
- Clearly communicate the treatment plan to the patient and ensure they understand its purpose
- Call in medications, supplements, botanical tinctures, etc. for patient in accordance with State and Federal laws
- Arrange patient referrals when necessary
- Ensure charts, diagnostic testing, treatment plans, and other paperwork pertaining to patient care is completed within 24 hours
- Maintain professional development through activities such as post-graduate education, continuing education, preceptorship, and shadowing
- Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings
- Assist in updating protocols and principles of practice as requested
- Participate in clinical research projects
- Perform blood draws and administer IVs when needed
- Oversee patients who are receiving IV treatments
- Foster an atmosphere that demonstrates approachability, knowledgeability, and communication among patients and employees.
- Anticipate and address patients’ needs, thank patients with genuine appreciation
- Ensure personal appearance is clean and professional
- Speak with others using clear, professional language
- Participate in company training sessions and team building activities, including webinars, and meetings
- Maintain HIPPA standards confidentiality of patient information
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
- Contribute constructively to produce results in a cooperative effort, demonstrating ongoing enthusiasm, and commitment to work assigned
- Follow company policy and procedures
Skills/Competencies Needed
- Naturopathic Medical Degree
- Active Medical License
- Customer service oriented and a true desire to be a team player
- Recall names and faces of patients and in doing so making all our patients feel welcomed and remembered
- Basic level of skill with Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to use other computer software
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills in a complex environment
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal relationship and customer service skills
- Good organizational and time management skills

32 Hours
This schedule can include extra hours on Saturday mornings based on procedure days
