Job Description: As an Irrigation Technician at Ethos Landscape, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential, commercial, and agricultural clients. This role requires expertise in irrigation design, troubleshooting, and system optimization to ensure water efficiency and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems (sprinklers, drip systems, controllers, etc.)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation system issues
- Conduct system audits to ensure optimal water efficiency
- Program and adjust irrigation controllers and timers
- Provide customer service and education on irrigation system usage and care
- Perform regular maintenance, including cleaning filters, checking pipes, and repairing leaks
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new irrigation technologies
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Irrigation Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, plumbing, and electrical components
- Ability to work with various tools and equipment (e.g., trenchers, controllers, testing equipment)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
