As an Irrigation Technician at Rubicon, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of irrigation systems for our clients' landscapes. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and water efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems, including pipes, valves, sprinkler heads, and controllers.
- Conduct routine inspections of irrigation systems to identify and address any issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with irrigation systems, such as leaks, clogs, or damaged components, and implement effective solutions.
- Program and adjust irrigation controllers to optimize watering schedules and ensure efficient water usage.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, adjusting sprinkler heads, and replacing worn-out parts, to keep irrigation systems in top condition.
- Collaborate with landscaping crews to ensure proper installation and integration of irrigation systems with landscape designs.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked for each project.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working with irrigation equipment and tools.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing clients' concerns and answering questions related to irrigation systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to irrigation systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role in the landscaping or irrigation industry.
- Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of irrigation systems.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation principles, techniques, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret irrigation system plans and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Certification in irrigation technology or a related field is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $21.00 - $31.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
