The Key Account Manager will work in Seattle, Washington Remotely, and report to the Director of Sales. The key responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities
The Key Account Manager will work in Seattle, Washington Remotely, and report to the Director of Sales. The key responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Manage national accounts and independent chains
- Meet/Exceed sales growth targets and KPIs
- Develop strong relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure growth, trust and retention
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
- Resolve any complaints or issues faced by customers to maintain trusting relationships
- Play an integral role in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Prepare progress reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics regularly
- Work with distribution centers on inventory, demand planning and programming
- Train customer’s inside and outsides sales team on Ethos Pet Brands and its product line
- Promotion design, preparation, execution, and performance analysis
- Travelling to and working with distribution centers on site
- Attend regional and national trade shows as needed
- Analysis of market / NEILSEN data
- Manage sales reporting and budgets
- Perform line reviews of Ethos Pet product
- Perform store check-ins
- Ability to drive a car
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or relevant field
- At least 6-10 years of sales experience
- Must be willing to submit a background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Must be eligible to work in the US
- Must have a valid driver license
- Must have a clean drivers record and able to be insured
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Prior experience working in a consumer-packaged goods environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
- Must be able to relay accurate information via multiple communication vehicles including verbal and written mechanisms
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours
- Ability to operate a computer and other office technology
- Ability to observe details at close range
- Occasionally travel for work up to 50% of the time
