JOB SUMMARY:
Our synergetic Ethos IT Team is growing and seeking a full-time IT Project Manager - Software Development (REMOTE) delivering high-quality software solutions through our Project Management Office (PMO). This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing software development projects, aligning multiple teams, and ensuring timely, within-budget delivery. This individual will apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and follow PMI best practices to support cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Management: Lead software development projects from initiation through delivery, managing schedules, budgets, and resources. Ensure timely project execution aligned with business goals.
- Monitoring and Controls: Monitor project performance using PMO tools and frameworks. Collaborate with QA to validate deliverables and uphold quality standards.
- Agile and Waterfall Application: Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support Waterfall methods where appropriate. Support team adoption of consistent Agile practices within PMO standards.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align tasks and maintain project momentum. Promote open communication to resolve issues efficiently.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Provide regular updates and escalate critical issues with proposed solutions. Partner with business analysts to confirm project requirements meet organizational needs.
- Communication Planner: Regularly reports on production and development progress to leadership, and ensures adoption of updated policies to the development teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may be a substitute for formal education. Master's degree in a related field (plus).
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, with at least 1-2 years successfully delivering software development projects (required).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management best practices.
Certifications:
- PMI certifications are highly desired.
- Agile certifications (plus)
- ITIL or AWS certifications (plus).
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This role is 100% remote and requests working hours between 8:00AM to 5:00PM EST. However, there might be occasional exposure to overtime or working more than 8 hours in a day due to project demands.
