What You’ll Do
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment and fixtures, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Assemble new equipment as required and ensure proper installation.
- Troubleshoot and repair broken equipment to minimize downtime.
- Address day-to-day maintenance needs, such as painting, fixing furniture, and replacing fixtures.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with facility standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and provide their own tools.
- Proven experience in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a hospital setting
- Flexible availability to work on an ad-hoc basis as needed
