We are seeking a Building Maintenance Technician for our local, Houston, TX Accessories & Components (FAA & DOT regulated) workshop, and repair station.

- General housekeeping & maintenance activities within the workshop and facility
- On the job learning of planned maintenance activities with workshop and facilities equipment
- Undertake daily safety and operational fitness checks of key production related equipment
- Self-safety awareness in all areas
- Hosting and monitoring of vendors and contractors carrying out work within the facility
- Other duties as required
- Knowledge of and proactive engagement on HSE requirements
- Strong focus on and passion for customer satisfaction
- Demonstrated positive and constructive attitude
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility in support of changing external and internal customer needs
- Good computer skills
- Experience in working in a heavy industrial workshop environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Good hand to eye coordination
- Good dexterity (grip, grasp, clutch)
- Punctual
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop for up to 8 hours a day
- FAA & DOT regulated work environment. Must be able to pass required background and drug test
