EthsosEnergy is currently seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for complex, multiproduct and service contracts typically inclusive of multiple internal and external providers. Scopes are generally related to power facilities for power producers and industrial facilities in the Power, Oil & Gas and Pulp & Paper sectors. Major equipment for scopes of work cover Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Generators, and Compressors as well as other plant supporting equipment. Scopes of work may include major outages, rotor overhauls, unit modifications, and upgrades. The PM is responsible to develop high performing project teams, promote positive customer relationships, and accountable to deliver projects in a Safe Manner, at a High-Quality Level, within Budget, on Schedule utilizing core competencies of Project Management.

- Manage the commercial relationship between EthosEnergy and the customer in a manner aligned with EthosEnergy’s Core Values: Safety, People, Financial Responsibility, Integrity, and Service Excellence; including the following:
- Ensure EEG meets its contractual obligations to the customer and does so safely, with high quality, within budget, and on schedule.
- Act as single point of contact for customer ensuring that customer is kept informed, and that all technical and commercial needs are met in accordance with the customer Critical To Quality (CTQ) scope expectations.
- Prepare, submit, and manage contract deliverables including but not limited to planning documents, schedules, reports, notices, and invoices Identify out of scope customer requests and negotiate resolution with the customer.
- Understand industry trends and EE capabilities identifying new business opportunities that align with customer’s technical and business needs.
- Manage technical deliverables by planning, contracting, and coordinating the activities required for successful delivery of EEG contracted services. This includes but is not limited to internal and external contracting of field labor activities, parts repairs, parts replacement, and facility upgrades.
- Facilitate and prepare pre-activity/outage project planning in accordance with EEG and contractual obligations.
- Lead project life cycle outage meetings and drive action items.
- Solicit quotations, negotiate commercially with internal and external providers, approve purchase orders (within established budget and DOA).
- Oversee all internal and external subcontractors/RBUs to ensure scope delivery is in accordance Customer’s Critical To Quality (CTQ) scope expectations.
- Manage scope change, authorizing or limiting services providers accordingly in accordance with their contracted services.
- Use outage lessons learned to more efficiently manage contract going forward Manage all internal requirements for contract management, including performing the following: Identify problems and risks that could compromise contract deliverables and elevate to proper level of management as required to ensure problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. Prepare budgets and schedules for approval by EEG Management.
- Prepare, analyze and report on project performance using project control techniques for cost, labor hours, scope, and schedule.
- Lead periodic performance and margin reviews with EEG stakeholders.
- Search for and implement mid-term and long-term cost reduction and life extension strategies to maximize the lifetime margin of the project.
- Prepare and submit bi -weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as defined for projects.
- Participate in and lead business level process standardization and continuous improvement projects.
- In depth knowledge and delivery of best practices in Project
- Management systems, policies and procedures including but not limited to: Planning, Quality Management, Risk Assessment, Schedule creation and maintenance, cost management and variance reporting, change control, commercial understanding of contracts, and customer relationship management.
- Ideal candidates will have strong power generation or industrial process industry experience and will have successfully managed contracts, budgets, and people. Strong commercial and project management skills are essential as are excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A minimum 2 years in a Project Management position. (recent graduates from accredited University's with a degree in Engineering, Business or Project Management may be considered)
- Experience in managing contract scope and objectives and translate to efficient project execution.
- Proven track record in managing conflict in projects to a positive resolution.
- Demonstrated track record in motivating and inspiring internal and external project team members to cultivate and build collaborative relationships with colleagues & customers.
- Demonstrated track record of successful goal achievement with the ability to think on a strategic level as well as a tactical level is required to drive solutions within a matrix organization.
- Preference will be given to individuals who have demonstrated leadership in advanced technology gas turbine power plants or similar environment.
- Engineering degree is preferred, or combination of a business degree with business improvement background. - A recognized and accredited professional project management training and certification, PMI, PMP, or equivalent is a plus.
- Ability to walk and navigate industrial facilities inclusive of climbing scaffolding and navigating stairways to equipment.
- Ability to work out of an office location in Houston, Pearland location, 5 days a week.
