Salary Ranges: 

Production Welder A : $25.75 - $34.57

Production Welder B: $23.50 - $30.96

Production Welder C : 20.50 - $25.90

Position classification will be measured on relevant experience and on-the-job pre-employment test results.

Located in Minonk, Illinois, SMF (an Etnyre International Company) is a full-service metal manufacturing facility that specializes in heavy and light fabrication for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Our organization has a fifty-year history servicing the construction, power generation, agriculture, and mining industries. Ninety-five percent of SMF’s business is as a Tier One supplier to OEMs, so we are held to high standards by our Fortune 500 clients. That’s why we are in the top ½ percent of machine shops nationwide. With more than 200,000 square feet of manufacturing capabilities between our two facilities, Our processes include everything from engineering and fabrication to multiple finishing options.  In late 2020, SMF joined the Etnyre International team and is now a part of an exciting growing organization. We are looking for energetic experienced Production Welders to join our 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift teams. 

Qualifications

• Proven experience as welder (structural, heavy gage steel, or pressure vessel); MIG experience preferred
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Must demonstrate good math skills
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
• Previous production welding experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions, read welding gauges, and operate overhead cranes
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and to stand for long periods of time
• Professional Certification is a plus
• Must pass in-house certification prior to hire

Salary : $21 - $35
