What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sports Performance Trainer position at ETS Performance West Michigan?
FALL 2023 INTERN DETAILS
Reports to: Director/Head Performance Specialist
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Assist Head Performance Coach with maintaining the facility.
-Observe and shadow Performance Coaches during all training sessions of all ages, skill, and levels.
-Observe, critique and assess athletes form and technique during training sessions.
-Complete all tasks and assignments in a timely and precise manner.
-Follows and adheres to ETS training and protocols
Requirements:
-Current Athlete (Preferred) or student with an athletic background
-Must have an undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher
-Student/Athlete must major/have majored in related field (kinesiology, exercise science, human performance, etc..)
-First Aid/CPR certification that’s valid for the duration of the internship
Scheduling:
Duration: This is an internship that lasts approximately 14-16 weeks or when the interns hours of service are completed.
Hours: Monday – Friday (2-6 days a week) 2:30pm – 8:30pm, Saturday 8am-12:30pm
