Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper/Office team member. The ideal candidate will support/perform various tasks related to financial recordkeeping, account analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with the preparation of financial reports.

Responsible person with the best work ethic, sensitive to private information
Work closely with Office Manager and Staff
Type up daily checks as needed from QB ad record
Preparing checks/a shared responsibility/.)
Make Bank Deposits/at bank or drop at bank. Record deposit in checking book, /a shared responsibility/, if needed
Run credit card payments on 15th of month for monthly clients and post.
File Insurance claims, watch for funds to transfer, post in client folders, blue
Checking book, spiral notebook and in QB
Pay office bills weekly, timely and file the bills when paid. Noting payment info with date, check# and amount(s) paid.
Make copies of deposits, put one in folder under box with blue book, record payments in QB and spiral notebook. Print copy of check(s) received & file copy into client folders.
Bank reconciliations. Monthly and/or yearly reporting when needed
Follow up by contacting overdue clients
Work with our others on the accounting when he needs assistance with QB related areas.
Answer phones and doors when needed
Willingness to learn other parts of the business when needed for back-up, too.
