The O’Neill is currently seeking enthusiastic emerging professionals across multiple departments for the 2025 Summer Season. Summer Staff make a season of developing new plays, musicals, cabaret acts, and puppet theater possible. Get intensive experience, full integration with O'Neill professional staff, and participate in all the activities of an O’Neill Summer.
Company Management Assistant
Reports to: Company Manager
Department: Producing
Compensation: $525/week stipend plus housing and meals
Dates: Mid May- Late July
Company Management Assistants are integral parts of the artist care team. Assistants will help the Company Manager with a variety of administrative and light manual labor tasks. Successful candidates will be self starters and comfortable w0rking with a variety of personality types.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Help with housing needs including equitizing residences, help manage rental properties, and assisting guest artists with any housing and hospitality needs
- Driving artist to and from transportation hubs
- Share on-call hours with the rest of the Company Management team
- Assist with bill paying, onboarding paperwork, and contract administration
- Adhere to driving schedules made by the Company Manager
- Help with Company events set up and break down
- Occasionally assist with light cleaning and room turnovers
- Liaison with the kitchen staff about meal times, staffing numbers and dietary restrictions
- Create and distribute name tags, welcome packets, and pre-arrival packets
- In charge of setting up green rooms for artists
- Respond to emergencies and assist with COVID-19 compliance
The Company Management Assistant must be over 21, have a valid driver's license, keen attention to detail, proficiency with Google Suite, strong communication skills, and a positive customer service attitude. Company Management staff generally work 10-12 hours, six days per week and share on-call duties for after-hours arrivals/emergencies.
