Job summary
The Financial Analyst (Operations Performance) is responsible for analyzing and optimizing operational costs, with a focus on labor expenses, contract compliance, and performance efficiency in ground-handling operations. This role involves using Excel and other data analysis tools to track and report workforce hours, payroll costs, and contract utilization, ensuring accurate financial planning and decision-making. This position reports to the Operation Performance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Excel-based performance dashboards, summarizing labor costs, contract utilization, and productivity metrics.
- Track and analyze workforce hours paid per contract, ensuring alignment with operational demands and financial efficiency.
- Assist in workforce cost budgeting and forecasting, identifying variances and providing insights to optimize financial performance.
- Cross-check payroll data with scheduled workforce hours to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Work with operations and finance teams to enhance efficiency in workforce allocation and cost control.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to labor efficiency and financial performance in operations.
- Collaborate with operations, HR, and finance teams to provide data-driven insights for decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc.) and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret financial and operational data to support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of payroll processes, workforce planning, and contract management is a plus.
Additional information
- Experience in a ground handling, airline, or logistics environment.
- Knowledge of cost control strategies.
