Overview
The Eureka Springs School of the Arts is seeking a proactive and organized individual to coordinate our events, free public programs and fundraising activities. The Fundraising and Events Coordinator candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for making a difference through effective planning and fundraising strategies. This role requires a positive, team-oriented individual who can communicate effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with other ESSA staff, event contractors, and volunteers to plan, promote and execute events.
- Collaborate with team members to market events effectively and engage potential donors and sponsors.
- Provide excellent customer service to donors, sponsors, and event participants.
- Monitor and adhere to event budgets and fundraising goals and provide reports to ED as needed.
- Identify and foster relationships with potential partner organizations and target audiences and represent ESSA at outside events as appropriate to promote the advancement of ESSAs mission and goals.
- Work closely with ESSA staff to ensure successful preparation and production of all promotional mailings, printed material, and web communications, as related to events and outreach.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and online collaboration platforms (e.g. Zoom)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work with CRM (e.g. ConstantContact, DonorPerfect)
- Ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Flexibility and positive attitude, and an ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to building relationships with donors and community members
- Familiarity with marketing strategies related to fundraising efforts is a plus

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
