Job Description
Be part of a growing team in a dynamic environment! The ideal candidate would perform high-throughput screening experiments involving kinase targets in support of drug discovery. Lab responsibilities include assay execution, reagent preparation, and cross-group support if needed in order to support the Kinase screening group.
Qualifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Executes 384-well microplate biochemical assay measuring interactions between small molecules and target proteins
- Prepares reagents, performs reagent QC, and chemistry-related calculations as needed.
- Maintain consumables as needed
- Participation in and presentation at group laboratory meetings.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned.
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner. Adheres to site employee health and safety (EHS) requirements.
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Owns the accountability and responsibility of delivering to client needs and timeliness.
- Adjusts work hours as needed to meet deadlines
Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ) :
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.
Education / Experience (BMQ) :
B.S. in biological or physical sciences and at least 0-2 year of relevant
Industry experience. Motivated individual with experience working in fast- paced environments. Willingness to take initiative in support of HTS team.
Ability and / or Skills (BMQ) :
Experience working in a cell culture lab maintaining mammalian cell lines.
Skilled with Excel and Word software. Good oral and written communication skills.
