Job Description

We are seeking a Histology Technician to join our GLP-compliant laboratory, specializing in the preparation and processing of tissue samples for research and regulatory studies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tissue trimming, embedding, sectioning, staining, and slide preparation to support toxicology, pharmacology, and biocompatibility testing.

This role requires precision, technical expertise, and adherence to laboratory protocols to ensure high-quality data generation for regulatory submissions and scientific research.

Key Responsibilities :

Tissue Processing & Histology Techniques

• Perform gross trimming, embedding, microtomy (paraffin and / or plastic sectioning), and staining of tissue samples.
• Utilize routine and special histological stains (H&E, PAS, Masson’s Trichrome, etc.) based on study requirements.
• Operate and maintain histology laboratory equipment, including microtomes, tissue processors, embedding centers, and slide stainers.

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in histology, pathology, or research laboratories (GLP experience preferred).

HT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) certification (or eligibility preferred).

Additional Information

Position is full-time, working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, some weekend required overtime as needed.  Candidates currently  living within commutable distance to South Brunswick Township, NJ  are encouraged to apply.
