Job Description
The Project Management Assistant supports the Project Management staff in servicing clients to meet the laboratory mission. Position is Full time, M-F 8:00am- 4:30pm (flexible) with overtime as needed. Must live a commutable distance to Concord, New Hampshire AND have a background in Environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists on-site and off-site Project Management staff as follows:
- Creates bottle orders
- Schedules courier or Service Center pick ups or drop offs as needed
- Creates and issues final report by client due date
- Issues final data package
- Completes state reporting forms and submissions
- Completes data uploads
- Compiles case narrative
- Invoicing and payment processing
- Reviews final invoice before issuing to client
- Generates credit/debit memos as needed and submits for approvals
- Answers phone and redirects calls to Project Managers
Assists with sample receiving as follows:
- Reviews log-in
- Assists with unpacking coolers during high receipt periods
- Uploads sample receipt paperwork to LIMS and files hard-copies
- Assists with sample control when client requests changes to jobs such as relocating or relabeling samples
- Confirms that any client needed information (purchase order, project number, etc.) is recorded in LIMS for invoicing
Qualifications
Basic Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree (four years client-relationship/client service experience may substitute for degree)
- High school Chemistry coursework, basic laboratory experience
- Environmental laboratory experience
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen if selected as final candidate.
Ideal Candidates will have:
- Customer service/client relations experience preferred
- Prior lab experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer skills, using routine software applications, such as Outlook, Office, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
Additional Information
Compensation range $16-18/hour (DOE)
Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
