We are searching for a motivated Regional Sales Manager in the to join our Sales team.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the execution of company sales strategies in order to achieve the pre-determined short and long-term growth and profitability goals. Directs and coordinates the promotion of sales and distribution of the relative products by means of promotions.
Job responsibilities include:
- Leading increased sales growth, profitability, strategy and execution for the region.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers, retail customers, distributors, brokers.
- Leading the execution of all customer agreements/programs through strong teamwork and communication with customers and Brokers.
- Performs broker training, and broker performance evaluations to develop sales programs to obtain the optimum quality of product.
- Travels with intent to generate and foster sales by setting up product or promotional demos, attending seminars and / or general meeting with clients.
- Reviewing and analyzing customer data and performance to determine customer needs and areas of opportunity.
- Anticipating and forecasting customer needs and overall market by working with other departments such as Customer Service, Logistics, Quality, etc.
- Represents Company at trade association meetings, or other functions to promote the sale of product.
The ideal candidate with possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Track record of success in baked goods retail sales.
- Strong business acumen with ability to be a strategic thinker.
- Must be able to work independently and within a remote team environment.
- Must be able to travel frequently locally, to and from NY/NJ area and to trade shows.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer applications.
- Must be self-driven and extremely organized.
- Excellent verbal and communications skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Experience in frozen bakery a plus.
