We have an opportunity for a Technical Sales - Welding Specialist with a strong understanding and knowledge of welding and thermal spray products and processes.
Position Overview:
To develop and maintain relationships with OEM customers, focusing on driving sales growth, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring seamless integration of products into client systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify and target new OEM customers.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new accounts and expand existing ones.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with OEM accounts and customer stakeholders.
- Facilitate technical guidance to end-user consumers within specified key industries to help reduce the high cost of wear and equipment failure
- Work closely with technical support and product teams to understand customer needs and ensure product specifications align with requirements.
- Provide technical support and solutions to customers.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs.
- Handle customer inquiries, issues, and escalations efficiently and effectively.
- Negotiate sales and manage accounts.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of sales activities within the CRM system.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Travel to OEM Customer sites 50% - 70%
- Other tasks as defined.
