EV.Careers is currently seeking a fulltime Civil General Foreman for one of our partners that is a leading provider of Electric Vehicle infrastructure engineering and construction services specializing in design installation and maintenance of EV charging stations. In this position you will oversee multiple civil crews across various work sites managing the implementation of civil scope work for medium to largescale electrical systems while ensuring project safety quality and timeliness. This role includes a takehome work vehicle gas card and tools.
Responsibilities :
Lead and supervise multiple civil crews across various construction sites coordinating with project management teams and subcontractors
Oversee installation activities including layout demolition excavation backfill forms rebar bollards concrete work and asphalt
Review and interpret project plans structural requirements and specifications to ensure compliance with approved designs
Manage project resources budgets and schedules while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
Monitor and maintain project labor hours to ensure profitability against budgets
Enforce safety protocols and maintain SWPPP compliance including proper management of dirt spoils and site drainage
Conduct quality control inspections and maintain detailed project documentation
Coordinate material and equipment needs ensuring efficient resource utilization
Maintain positive client relationships and promote company values
Requirements
810 years minimum experience as lead project Foreman
Commercial civil construction experience
Knowledge of California Building Code
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
Experience leading and mentoring construction teams
Valid Drivers License with clean record
Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Ability to travel outside SF area
Physical ability to perform essential job functions including lifting 51 pounds
Ability to work at heights up to 50 using various access equipment
Willingness to relocate to California before starting work
Preferred Qualifications :
OSHA 30Hour certification
First Aid / CPR certification
