What You'll Do
Payment System Management
- Oversee the setup, activation, and maintenance of payment processing software and hardware.
- Manage customer accounts, including rate adjustments and updates.
- Monitor payment system performance, addressing and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in payment technology.
- Collaborate with the Manager to analyze transaction data, identify trends, and uncover discrepancies.
- Generate and present reports on payment activity with actionable insights for management.
- Identify inefficiencies in payment processes and develop strategies to streamline operations.
- Implement solutions to improve transaction speed, accuracy, and security.
- Collaborate with payment service providers and vendors to optimize services and address issues.
- Escalate vendor-related challenges and advocate for InCharge customers to ensure quality service.
- Act as the primary point of contact for payment-related inquiries and troubleshooting.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on payment processes and best practices.
- 1-2 years of experience in payment processing or a related role
- Strong understanding of payment systems, regulations, and security standards
- Proficiency in payment processing software, tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with implementing and managing payment gateways
- Knowledge of emerging payment technologies, including mobile payment solutions
- Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting
