JOB DESCRIPTION
Evangel exists to CONNECT REAL PEOPLE TO A REAL GOD! We are one church in multiple locations including campuses in Bismarck, Garrison, Online and more to come! The church is about one person, Jesus, but it is composed of many different kinds of people, and we are always looking for quality people to join the team.
We are looking for a friendly, energetic individual who is interested in joining the Evangel team and helping to support Evangel ministries by being a part of our facilities team and taking the lead on maintenance duties. This position will help to ensure our facility is welcoming, put together, and functioning at its best to accomplish the vision ahead of us.

Responsibilities
- Put people first! Friendly interactions and conversation with other staff members and Evangel attenders and visitors
- General Facility Repairs: Perform and oversee routine repairs ensuring the campus remains operational and safe.
- Coordinate Vendor Repair work: including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other mechanical systems.
- Preventive Maintenance Scheduling: Maintain preventive maintenance schedule for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring long-term efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee Grounds & Snow Removal: Manage and coordinate snow removal during the winter months, ensuring all walkways, parking lots, and outdoor areas are clear and safe for church members and visitors.
- Oversee Church Van Fleet: Manage the maintenance and scheduling of the church van fleet, ensuring regular service, inspections, and compliance with safety standards.
- Daily Cleaning Support: Assist with some of the daily and weekly cleaning needs.
- Shared Special Event Setup and Cleanup: Work closely with the custodial team to ensure smooth setup, teardown, and cleanup for special events, coordinating equipment and technical needs.

- General experience in some trade skills is preferred.

Evangel was started in 1928 because two brothers had a passion to reach the community of Bismarck for Jesus. Through the years, Evangel has grown into a church with a regular weekend attendance that surpasses 3,000 people joining across all its campuses. The church is served by a dynamic group of Elders and church staff who give direction and oversight to the church. While Evangel’s broadcast location remains in Bismarck, the vision is regional in nature and people are being reached all across the upper Midwest and beyond!
