Position Overview:
As a Door Knocking Canvasser, you’ll be the first point of contact between homeowners and our company. Your primary responsibility will be to generate leads by knocking on doors, engaging potential customers in conversation, and setting appointments for our sales team. No selling required—just genuine conversations and appointment setting!
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Knock on doors and put signs out in targeted neighborhoods
✅ Introduce homeowners, realtors, insurance agents, etc. to our roofing services in a friendly, professional manner
✅ Educate potential customers on roofing solutions and storm damage inspections
✅ Gather basic information and schedule free inspections/consultations
✅ Track leads and appointments accurately
✅ Maintain a positive, energetic attitude and represent the company well
✅ Attend team meetings and training sessions as needed
Requirements:
✔MUST be comfortable knocking on doors and speaking with strangers face-to-face
✔Excellent communication and people skills
✔Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
✔Outgoing, confident, and enthusiastic personality
✔Ability to work independently and stay organized
✔Reliable transportation
✔Prior experience in door-to-door canvassing, sales, or customer service is a plus—but not required!
✔Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
