SALARY
Substitutes with a valid Indiana Substitute Permit: $120.00/day for regular variable day subbing. On 16th day of a consecutive day assignment rate changes to $175/day retro

National Background Check
After completing all the steps in Step 1, you will be contacted by email and provided instructions on requesting the required online background check from our provider. You will be responsible for the fee, payable online with a personal credit or debit card.

A valid Indiana teaching license or Indiana substitute permit is required to work as a substitute teacher in Indiana. If you do not hold an active Indiana teaching license, you will apply to the Indiana Department of Education for a substitute teacher permit through EVSC. You will be responsible for the fee ($16.32), payable online with a personal credit or debit card.
