Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in a vibrant Juice bar environment. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and variety of smoothie and protein shake beverages, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the juice bar area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Utilize Toast POS system for order processing and inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or juice bar setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
