DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement event plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Lead project meetings and communicate with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
- Monitor event flow and make adjustments as necessary to enhance client satisfaction.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align event objectives and ensure seamless communication throughout the event planning process.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, providing support and resources as needed.
- Liaise with the logistics team and event leads.
- Develop production timelines and convey client expectations to the Operations team.
- Identify potential risks associated with events and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
- Handle operational and administrative functions for efficient project delivery.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations, effectively managing unexpected challenges or changes in plans.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance event planning and execution.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant experience in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and Project Management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in leading teams, managing volunteers, or coordinating large groups.
- Delegation skills for efficient task management
- Ability to work with diverse groups and an understanding of cultural sensitivities related to event planning.
