JOB SUMMARY
The Specialty Talent Supervisor is responsible for the logistical and operational management of diverse performers within ESG’s Specialty Talent Department. This individual serves as the primary liaison for specialty talent, overseeing contracts, scheduling, compliance, and communication. The Supervisor works closely with the Head of Department to facilitate collaboration across creative, operational, and production teams to elevate ESG’s roster and specialty experiences, enhancing the company’s entertainment offerings.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Creative Cross-Team Partnerships:
- Foster strong internal relationships to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across departments.
- Act as a resource to align strategies between creative and operational departments.
- Resolve conflicts within projects, ensuring all teams are aligned with goals and timelines.
2. Vendor & Talent Relationships:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for talent, providing guidance and clear expectations.
- Oversee talent and contractor onboarding, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate schedules, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring smooth integration of vendors and contractors into projects.
- Negotiate contracts and rates in line with event needs and budgets, keeping accurate records.
- Assess vendor and contractor performance and recommend improvements.
3. Wardrobe Management (Subject to Change):
- Oversee the maintenance and organization of wardrobe, props, and specialty makeup, ensuring show readiness.
- Resolve any wardrobe challenges and assist with shopping or returns as needed.
4. Time Management:
- Set and meet deadlines while managing resources effectively.
- Identify and resolve potential scheduling conflicts proactively.
5. Innovation:
- Introduce creative solutions to enhance specialty talent offerings.
- Stay updated on industry trends and translate innovative ideas into proposals.
6. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of projects, contracts, and performance evaluations.
- Prepare and distribute reports on talent activity and progress to leadership.
- Monitor and ensure accuracy and consistency of project documentation.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for talent workflows.
7. Daily Tasks & Operational Support:
- Act as the main liaison between talent, creative, and operational teams.
- Manage talent databases, contracts, and compliance documentation.
- Schedule and coordinate travel, accommodations, and on-site needs for specialty talent.
- Prepare and distribute schedules, timelines, and performance documentation.
- Rack budgets, invoices, and payments, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
8. Event & Performance Oversight:
- Oversee auditions, rehearsals, showcases, and performances, maintaining artistic integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience in the entertainment or performing arts industry.
- Experience with events and/or specialty talent management is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and project management tools.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Ability to develop and manage budgets.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Emotional intelligence and strong communication skills.
- Punctual and flexible, with the ability to work on weekends as needed.
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Occasionally need to stand, walk, and sit.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers.

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
