Description
Responsible for set up, operation and teardown of events safely, efficiently and effectively, adhering to EventLink quality, safety, employee and event policies and procedures, to ensure customer satisfaction that meets or exceeds EventLink and client expectations. Extensive travel required to perform work.
Responsibilities:
- Set-up, teardown and cleaning of various tent styles, including associated equipment
- Set-up, teardown and cleaning of equipment, including any props and components that particular to individual events
- Load and unload trailers at warehouse or event sites in an organized, efficient and safe manner
- Wash, detail and maintain event and support vehicles to showroom quality appearance, which includes interior and exterior, and sometimes the engine based on the given event
- Maintain a clean and orderly event site at all times to reduce the risk of incidents or accidents and promote a quality work ethic towards our clients, current or prospective
- Responsible for ensuring sufficient quantities are on hand and complete a preparation of inventory materials in a quality, organized and professional manner
- Perform catering and any greeting or informational responsibilities with any participants or clients in a quality and professional manner.
- Perform registration responsibilities and services in a quality, organized and professional manner
- Perform specific job assignments and responsibilities as directed by Program Manager or Assistant Program Manager professionally and efficiently
- Adheres to all policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, including all safety policies and amended rules and regulations, such as the Hands Free Cell Phone Policy
Qualifications
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- A valid Driver’s License is preferred
- Possible need to obtain a Chauffeur’s Endorsement and a Medical Card
- Training will be required to learn essential skills for tent assembly/disassembly, forklift, tire changing and so forth as required of position
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
