Job Description: Warehouse Customer Service Associate at EventRent
EventRent is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Customer Service Associate to join our team. This role combines physical labor with customer service, requiring a versatile individual who can handle both aspects efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize returned rental items to ensure they meet our high quality standards
- Prepare and stage rental items for upcoming orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Assist customers with loading rental items into their vehicles
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Operate forklifts after completing company-provided training
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Interact professionally with customers, addressing inquiries and providing excellent service
- Represent EventRent in a positive manner during all customer interactions
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to learn and operate forklifts (training provided)
- Attention to detail in cleaning and preparing rental items
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and some evenings as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or customer service experience preferred, but not required
