Job Description: The Finance Accounting Analyst responsibilities include but not limited to: Accounting and local report to the regulator. Maintenance of the General Ledger (CoA) with all the changes and new rules under IFRS and US GAAP, including record of technical reverses Calculation of assets impairment accruals and all the required adjustments to comply with accounting principles. Oversees the report to local IRS (SII), including the preparation of legal books. In charge of all the suppliers process, including payment and booking of expenses. Supervises and controls the registration of reinsurance contracts as well as facultative reinsurance. Provides reliable, accurate financial information to senior manager in a timely manner. Ensures compliance with accounting principles. Complies with regulatory requirements in a timely manner. Produces timely and consistently quarterly and annual financial reports. Manages the process of payment and registration of suppliers Keeps updated the issuance of legal accounting books. Manages the relationship with local IRS (SII). Controls and registers of transaction with Reinsurers. Supports in the development of monthly estimates, quarterly forecast, and annual plan for Insurance Premiums Supports Financial Forecasting models and provide analyses to identify underlying trends and insights for decision making Supports automation of reports and optimize processes and data collections efforts Supports month end accounting process including accruals and reconciliations. Supports the production of monthly reports and financial reporting Qualifications 5 years of Accounting experience Bachelor’s degree or greater (Certified) English language intermediate or advance (plus) ERP Oracle GL, AP, CM (plus) Skills Exceptional oral and written communication with the ability to concisely provide executive summaries to senior management Strong problem-solving analytical skills, with an ability to drive data analytics and make appropriate conclusions on results Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines across a variety of stakeholders to meet targets and deliverable dates Team oriented and ability to work effectively with peers Demonstrated bias for action with a high sense of urgency, strong work ethic and drive for results Experience with corporate governance and controls management, including processes and systems Experience with a wide variety of assignments around operational workflow including systems is an asset Competencies: The role holder will be required to embrace the Everest Core Values: Collaboration, Thoughtful Assumption of Risk, Execution, Humility and Leadership.
