About the Role :

The National Accounts Excess Casualty Division of Everest, a member of the Everest Group, Ltd. (Everest) is looking for a Head of National Accounts-East Region to join our New York office.

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

• Key responsibilities for the position include new and renewal business production underwriting of National Account Business.
• Effectively preserving and enhancing profitability through pricing discipline, competitive analysis and the development of performance metrics and controls.
• Management over a team of Excess Casualty underwriters in Northeast regional offices, some of which may be remote.
• Developing new business and renewal account strategies for profitable production.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with brokers to facilitate new and renewal business.
• Adhering to underwriting guidelines and protocols.
• Driving top-notch service and collaboration with other products lines to provide full product support to the client.
• 25% Travel is required to visit clients / brokers.

For NY Only : The base salary range for this position is $220,000 - $280,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
