Job Summary :
The Miami Accounting team of Everest Reinsurance Company, a member of Everest Re Group, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst for our Treaty Team.
This is a hybrid position working 3 days in office, 2 remote in Miami, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Data organization and analysis; document organization and storage.
- Manage the timeliness and accuracy of the quarterly reports / controls.
- Drive improvements to the reinsurance accounting system to facilitate efficient processes in handling complex accounts.
- Input of reinsurance premiums, losses, and other information into the general ledger.
- Review of daily payment receipts and proper allocation of all incoming payments.
- Work collaboratively with home office accounting staff and with supporting departments such as claims and underwriting.
- Regular correspondence with back-office staff of client companies regarding overdue balances, claim payments, etc.
- Support internal and external audit processes as needed.
