As an Infection Preventionist, you will play a critical role in achieving these goals by developing, implementing, and monitoring infection prevention and control programs.
About the Job
This is a full-time position that requires strong clinical, organizational, and decision-making skills. You will work closely with our healthcare team to develop and implement infection prevention and control programs, review and update policies and procedures, and provide education and training to staff.
Duties:
- Develop and implement infection prevention and control programs
- Review and update infection control policies and procedures
- Oversee antimicrobial stewardship and employee health programs
- Participate in Quality Assessment & Assurance Committee meetings
- Conduct rounds to identify potential hazards and monitor infection control practices
- Develop and deliver staff education programs
- Analyze and present surveillance trends and develop action plans
- Maintain records and reports as required by state and federal regulations
