Insurance Coordinator
Job Summary:
The insurnance Coordinator ensures the accounting receivables system, specifically pertaining to insurance claims, runs efficiently for both the practice and the patients. Serves as backup personnel for the Patient Accounts Coordinator. They also fullfill administrative duties, such as creating reports and answering phones.
Qualification Requirements:
- Hign School Diploma/GED
- Punctuality, accuracy, efficiency and professionalism
- Computer Literate
- OSHA Compliant
- HIPPA Compliant
- Interpersonal Skills: Relationship building skills, Influencing skills/ negotiating skills, Teamwork and leadership skills
- Familiarity with dental insurance protocols and ADA codes
Performance Standards:
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
- Must type 40 WPM
- Support Practice Vision at all times
- Honor team agreements
- Uphold the Standard of Care
- Increase knowledge and skills by self-study and attending courses and seminars
- Be impeccable with verbiage and appearance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
