Evergreen Family Medicine is committed to providing excellent care for your family with clinics in Roseburg and Myrtle Creek Oregon. Evergreen Family Medicine serves outpatient needs, including Urgent Care, Family Practice, Women’s Health, Occupational Health, and school-based telehealth.
Evergreen Family Medicine is a Drug Free Workplace. All candidates that are offered employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Job Summary:
Responsible for providing general, clerical, and administrative services as directed by the Occupational Clinic Manager. The OH Accounts Receivable is also charged with phone communications with patients and local companies, company account management along with the day-to-day tasks associated with keeping a reduced accounts receivable balance.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Creating and processing invoices for all services rendered
• Obtaining, posting and reconciling payments on account
• Reporting and depositing all incoming payments to the Finance Department
• Monthly closing and reporting of financials to the Finance Department
• Communicates with companies regarding past due invoices including generating data for collection purposes
• Maintains a positive working relationship with local AP departments
• Supports and educates OH staff members as necessary for accurate billing
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of basic accounting skills including invoices and payment posting
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills.
Physical requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; and reach forward with hands and arms.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
