Job Title: HR Recruiter
Salary Range: $58,000-70,000
About The Position
The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for managing all aspects of the recruitment process, from the planning and execution of the organization wide recruitment strategy. This role partners with hiring teams to build effective and diverse sourcing strategies to build a robust candidate pipeline and help fill the highest priority hiring needs for Goodwill.
Areas of focus will include high volume recruiting for retail areas of the organization. This highly visible position will need to network and develop strong business relationships within the community as well as with members of Seattle Goodwill Management, while also building a strong social media presence that meets the unique needs of the many diverse communities we serve.

- Responsible for the execution of the organization’s strategic recruitment plan and procedures, including a social media strategy focused around retail recruitment.
- Develop an approach that includes leveraging data to ensure we are engaging local communities to develop pipelines and slates of candidates for selection that enable us to build teams as diverse as the communities we serve.
- Create a focused strategy that addressed high volume recruiting needs for entry-level positions within retail, warehouse, and donations environments.
- Owns the responsibility of attracting top diverse talent for all levels of the organization with an emphasis on management candidates, including maintaining a local talent pipeline that engages both active and passive job seekers while identifying novel avenues of attracting talent.
- Understand local recruiting dynamics and business needs to build innovative recruitment strategies that align with overall organizational objectives.
- Proactive networking and building working relationships, must consistently evaluate cost-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek and evaluate sourcing solutions, identify trends, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to your partners.
- Develop strong relationships with managers to acquire a solid understanding of their operations and the type of talent required to ensure their success and conducts recruitment strategy meetings with hiring managers.
- Review and coordinate candidate applications, conducts phone interviews/screenings as needed, refers candidates to hiring managers and participates in applicant interviews as needed.
- Maintain interview question banks that are both applicable and inclusive, for managers to utilize in screening in order to create a consistent candidate experience regardless of location.
- Develop, maintain and present HR recruiting metrics.
- Uphold safe work practices in support of a safety culture through awareness and observation; reports any potential hazards or accidents.
- Special projects as assigned.

Education And Experience
- A bachelor's degree preferred or a 2-year degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Minimum 1 year in human resources, employee relations, or recruiting.
- Knowledge of federal, state and city laws related to hiring.
- Excellent communication and organization skills are required.
- Project and team management/leadership skills and experience.
- Social and digital recruiting skills a plus.
- Ability to use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as career fairs, on-site hiring events, community network events, etc.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to be confidential and professional.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with flexibility to reset priorities as needed.
- Must have valid WA driver’s license and proof of insurance.
- Proficiency intermediate level with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems.
- Experience with Dayforce a plus.
- Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the job.
