About The Position
The Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst Lead is responsible for guiding the AR team and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of daily sales audits, customer invoicing/billing, cash receipts, accounts receivable aging, and account reconciliations.

About The Position
The Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst Lead is responsible for guiding the AR team and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of daily sales audits, customer invoicing/billing, cash receipts, accounts receivable aging, and account reconciliations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, include:
- Lead, coach, and support the AR team in executing accounts receivable functions efficiently.
- Conduct daily sales audits, validating store sales and cash transactions, and researching sales variances, overages/shortages to make accurate adjustments to the sub-ledger and general ledger.
- Process customer invoicing/billing, payment applications, and maintain proper documentation on a daily basis.
- Communicate and resolve issues with the accounting manager and customers as necessary.
- Manage customer account setups and reconciliations, ensuring accurate adjustments and issuing monthly statements to customers.
- Prepare and analyze weekly internal and external accounts receivable aging reports.
- Record and accrue e-commerce sales transactions.
- Track and record restitution income.
- Maintain merchant services, including sales audit adjustments, chargebacks, user access, and new store/account setups.
- Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct initial credit reviews for new customer accounts.
- Ensure the confidentiality of Goodwill's financial affairs and sensitive information.
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Perform assigned account reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy.
- Research and resolve discrepancies, answer questions from staff, vendors, and customers.
- Oversee and reconcile customer accounts, ensuring timely collections and accurate reporting.
- Promote and uphold safe work practices through awareness, training, and reporting of potential hazards.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ accounts receivable experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in leading or supervising teams.
- Ability to perform multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external customers.
- Intermediate knowledge with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience with D365 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or similar accounting software.
- Proficient with 10-key by touch.
- Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the job.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing business needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in nonprofit accounting is helpful but not required.
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods of time.
- Occasionally required to lift and carry files or documents weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing.
- Visual acuity to review detailed financial documents and computer screens.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements, such as typing and using a mouse.
