Time Commitment: Just 10-20 hours (mostly remote) in the 2 weeks leading up to the event, plus 4-8 hours on the fun-filled event day (weekend).

As our Event Manager, you’ll be at the heart of all the action! Your mission will be to ensure everything flows smoothly on event day while coordinating awesome volunteers and keeping our attendees buzzing with excitement!
Your Adventure Awaits: Responsibilities
- Be the Master of Logistics: Oversee all event-day operations, making sure timelines are respected and resources are ready to roll!
- Connect & Collaborate: Coordinate with inspiring speakers, exhibitors, and vendors to create a seamless experience.
- Lead the Charge: Train and inspire volunteers, ensuring they feel confident and ready to shine in their roles.
- Be the Go-To Guru: Serve as the main point of contact, ready to tackle any surprises that come your way!
- Reflect and Shine: After the event, share your insights in a feedback session to help us grow and improve!
What We’re Looking For:
- A commitment to just one event.
- Availability for 10-20 hours of mostly remote planning in the 2 weeks before the big day, plus 4-8 hours of event excitement on a weekend.
- You will need to attend a mandatory online training session to get you ready!
Your Skill Set:
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and people skills that’ll shine through!
- Previous experience in event management is a plus, but not required—bring your enthusiasm!
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt on the fly—it’s all part of the adventure!

About Evergreen Hearts
Evergreen Hearts is an all-volunteer non-profit dedicated to empowering individuals in non-traditional relationships to thrive and create their envisioned lives. We offer educational events focusing on polyamory and non-monogamy, covering essential topics such as personal development, relationship dynamics, and effective communication. We also host social events and maintain a vendor booth at festivals to raise awareness about polyamory.
This is a volunteer position. No compensation, benefits, or salary will be provided. Evergreen Hearts is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all volunteers.
