Lawn Mowing Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Lawn Mowing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining residential and commercial lawns, including mowing, trimming, edging, and ensuring that properties are kept in pristine condition. As a Lawn Mowing Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lawn care services in a timely and efficient manner.

Job Description and Responsibilities

• Mow lawns using a variety of equipment, including riding mowers, push mowers, and string trimmers.
• Trim grass along edges, sidewalks, driveways, and around obstacles such as trees, fences, and flower beds.
• Edge sidewalks, curbs, and flower beds to create a clean and professional look.
• Blow off driveways, sidewalks, and other hard surfaces to remove grass clippings and debris.
• Maintain and clean equipment regularly to ensure proper functioning and longevity.
• Ensure that lawn mowing areas are free of debris and hazards.
• Follow company safety guidelines to minimize risk and ensure the safety of team members and customers.
• Communicate with clients and address any specific lawn care needs or concerns.
• Assist with other lawn care duties such as fertilizing, aeration, and weed control, as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to operate a variety of mowing, trimming, and snow removal equipment. (Zero turn mowers, walk-behind mowers, stand-on aerators, trimmers, edgers, leaf blowers, power rakes, snow blowers, snow plow, shovel, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent service.
• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles Including manual transmissions and pulling a trailer.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
• Available to work a flexible schedule Monday-Saturdays 5:30 am-8:00 pm. (Work hours will vary depending on the weather and weekly workload.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
