The Development Director will lead Evergreen's advancement initiatives and development events to address both the short- and long-term needs of the organization. This role involves establishing fundraising goals by engaging a robust donor network and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners. We are looking for someone who understands non-profit development and has experience soliciting meaningful contributions during in-person engagements. The ideal candidate will share a commitment to Washington State's mountain biking community and trails and believe in Evergreen's mission to make Washington the best place to ride.

Key Responsibilities Strategy and Organizational Leadership
- The Development Director reports to the Executive Director and will be a key member of the leadership team with influence in all parts of the organization.
- Actively participate in Evergreen’s activities, including staff retreats, events, and site visits.
- Collaborate with and support the Executive Director (ED) and Board of Directors in setting and achieving development strategies.
- Partner with the ED and leadership team to identify resource development priorities.
- Foster an organizational culture of philanthropy.

You are deeply passionate about Evergreen’s mission and vision, and committed to fostering equity within the organization and the broader community. You bring a minimum of three years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of innovation in development and fundraising strategies.

Employment Offer & Agreement
The Development Director is a full-time, exempt position with flexible work hours. The salary range is $77,000 - $81,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location : North Bend, WA. Remote work is permitted, with a recommended 1-day week in-office day.
