As a Retention Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers who are considering canceling their service, addressing their concerns, and finding solutions to retain their business. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.
What You’ll Do:
- Proactively contact customers who have requested to cancel or are at risk of discontinuing service.
- Listen to customer concerns, identify issues, and provide tailored solutions to retain accounts.
- Offer discounts, alternative service plans, or additional value to improve customer satisfaction.
- Track and document all customer interactions in PestRoutes by FieldRoutes (CRM software).
- Meet or exceed retention goals by successfully building value to customers for a recurring service.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 1 years in customer service, sales, or retention (pest control experience a plus).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to overcome objections.
- Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and ability to provide creative solutions.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with CRM systems and call management tools.
- Resilience: Ability to handle objections and maintain a positive attitude.
