Technical Architect (Data)

If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Technical Architect Data (Telecom Emphasis) role.

As a Technical Architect Data (Telecom Emphasis) you will be part of our core consulting team that helps our customers solve problems, tackle projects, and embrace any challenge. You will work with a diverse and specialized team of solution architects, engineers, and analysts to design, prototype, and deliver data solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Databricks and Snowflake. You will also stay updated on technology and ecosystem trends, especially those related to data, AI and ML.

·Leverage/create approved solution assets to design and prototype the specific architecture of secure data solutions for our customers using technology platforms such as; Microsoft Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.

·Communicate system requirements and specifications to key stakeholders through design and prototyping ensuring a smooth hand-off to delivery teams and customer expectations are met.

·Provide ongoing technical leadership advisory oversight to delivery teams and data consumers.

·Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues when they arise.

·Monitor and optimize the quality, performance and security of data platform solutions collaborating with solutions architects to vet and incorporate refinements back into the core solution asset base.

·Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

·Proven experience as a Technical Architect/Lead Engineer or a similar role in data services (preferably within the telecom industry).

·Hands-on experience with secure data platform design and development (preferably within the telecom industry).

·Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks or equivalent cloud technologies, data platforms, and AI/ML tools.

·Knowledge of data modeling (OLTP & OLAP), data formats (e.g. Avro, Parquet), and data pipelines (e.g. Spark, Airflow).

·Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX) and databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle).

·Experience with US and international (such as GDPR) data privacy requirements and implementing data/cyber security accordingly

·Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, data structures, testing frameworks, and deployment tools.

·Experience with event streaming platforms (e.g. Kafka) and service-oriented architecture (SOA).

·Excellent communication (internal and client-facing), problem-solving, and organizational skills.

·Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

·Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing customer needs.
