Description

Are you passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and eager to launch your career in People Operations? Everi is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented People Operations Specialist to join our team in Austin, TX.

Candidates must reside in or near Austin, TX to be considered due to the in-office requirement for this position.

What Will You Be Doing?

Lead virtual and in-person new hire orientation sessions to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

Organize and distribute new hire documentation while maintaining accurate records.

Process and verify I-9 documentation, including re-verifications and yearly audits.

Maintain employee records and HRIS data entry, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Collaborate with the Organizational Development and Culture Team to enhance orientation content and effectiveness.

Collect feedback from new hires and hiring managers to support ongoing improvements.

Work closely with the People Operations team on various Human Resources / People Operations initiatives.

Handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Provide occasional front desk support, including sorting and distributing mail, as or if needed.

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job :

Experience : 6 months to 1 years in an HR or administrative role involving high attention to detail, organization, communication, and ability to multi-task.

Technical Proficiency : Microsoft Office applications : Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, and Sharepoint.

Preferred Qualifications :

Previous onboarding experience is a big plus.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Previous event coordination experience.

Work Environment and Expectations :

This position is in-office Monday through Friday.

Following the first 90 days, there may be potential for flexibility to work 1-2 days remotely based on performance and comfort in the role. However, remote work is not guaranteed.

Applicants should carefully consider their commute to our Austin locations and the need for consistent in-office attendance.

At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $22 - $25 per hour and is overtime eligible.
