Job Summary
The Mitigation Manager oversees all mitigation, contents, and rebuild jobs. Responsibilities include qualifying and closing jobs, managing workflow 24/7, ensuring quality control, and directly handling large loss projects. With over 5 years of experience and a bachelor's degree, the ideal candidate holds certifications in IICRC and is familiar with Xactimate, Matterport, Encircle, and VTiger. The manager also plays a crucial role in training staff, maintaining inventory, and accurately estimating jobs using various tools.
Mitigation Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee all jobs with a 80% close rate for mitigation, contents, and rebuild jobs.
- Qualify & close jobs, perform inspections, execute contracts.
- Lead, hire and train the team in a way to foster a positive company culture.
- Identify unique conditions ahead of the crew, manage all workflow situations, respond 24/7.
- Ensure services performed pass quality and cleanliness standards and oversee certificate of completion
- Directly manage all commercial and large loss job
- Manage customer and adjuster relations, seek referrals, and remove roadblocks
- Build and maintain an on-call schedule
- Manage inventory of equipment, vehicles, and PPE
- Perform any role needed to aid the company during growth, act as a technician while on call (if needed)
Mitigation Manager Requirements/Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years (required)
- At least 2 years’ experience in a management level role
- Several IICRC restoration-related certifications (required)
- Bachelors degree in construction or related field (preferred)
- Experience with: Xactimate, Matterport, Encircle, VTiger, thermal imaging, and thermal-hygrometer (preferred)
