Overview:

As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll optimize inventory flows across US sites, using your strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities to drive innovation and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Handle any fright-related issues promptly and effectively

· Issue purchase orders that reflect our commitment to excellence

· Make sure every coil reaches its destination to us, our partners, and our customers

· Engage in proactive forecasting for mill coil requirements

· Be hands-on with our semiannual physical inventory

· Maintain accuracy in all confirmations and reports

· Manage shipping issues with tact and resilience

· Respond to shipping complaints and damages

· Track and report shipment results

· Make outgoing phone calls to customers, vendors, end users, and others as needed to facilitate customer’s orders

· Communicate with Manufacturing, and Transportation Department to accommodate special requests for delivery and pick-ups for customers

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

A seasoned professional with 3 years in Logistics, supply chain, or a similar area.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

A passion for proven skill in negotiations.

Superb communication and interpersonal skills.

An expert in organization and time management.

Proficient in turning data into actionable logistics insights.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced landscape.

Equally proficient in solo initiatives and team collaborations.

Equipped with a high “figure-it-out” factor--Ability to operate independently.

Self-driven achiever with a proactive approach to optimizing logistics and supply chain functions.

Direct experience in supply chain forecasting/planning a plus.

Direct experience in building materials a plus.
