EverLights, the premier permanent holiday lighting company for residential and commercial, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Dealer Sales & Operations to spearhead the growth and expansion of EverLights through new dealer development and product sell-through. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in dealer or franchise development, preferably in the home services industry, as well as strong leadership skills, and a passion for building partnerships. This role requires the ability to drive a high-performing sales team while staying aligned with the brand's mission and values.
Dealer Program Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive nation-wide dealer program strategy that supports company growth objectives and expands market presence.
- Develop and hold team members accountable key KPIs
- Review and design improvements across recruiting, onboarding, and on-going dealer development to scale the channel for growth
Dealer Recruiting & Onboarding
- Lead a team in the dealer recruitment process, including establishing preferred candidate profiles, candidate screening, interviews, and selection
- Partner with Marketing to develop dealer recruitment strategies and campaigns
- Negotiate dealer agreements and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Oversee and elevate the onboarding process for new dealers, providing training and support to ensure a successful launch
- Implement and iterate a platform/software tool to ensure a seamless and tech-forward dealer sales and onboarding experience
Dealer Operations Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing dealers providing ongoing support and guidance
- Prepare regular reports and forecasts on dealer development and sales performance for management review
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and legal teams to create effective dealer marketing materials, compelling sales materials, and promotional campaigns
- Implement and monitor performance metrics to evaluate dealer performance and profitability
- Provide guidance and support to resolve operational challenges and optimize business practices
Leadership and Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performing dealer team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Present findings and recommendations to ownership.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage customer information and track sales activities.
KPIs for Success
- Revenue based on targets for new dealers and renewals
- Revenue based on dealers successfully hitting MOQs
- Growth of number of dealers in program
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the home services industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
