Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our on-site team in Lindon, UT. As an SDR at Everlights, your primary role will be to generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and strategic research. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, playing a key role in growing our sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect & Qualify Leads: Use a variety of prospecting methods, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach to identify and engage potential customers in both the residential and commercial lighting markets.
  • Inbound Lead Management: Respond quickly to inbound inquiries and follow up with leads generated from marketing campaigns, ensuring they are thoroughly qualified before handing them off to Account Executives.
  • Research & Identify Opportunities: Conduct research to uncover potential opportunities by identifying key decision-makers and understanding their needs in relation to Everlights’ products.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on messaging, outreach strategies, and target prospects. Provide feedback on campaign performance and customer responses.
  • Maintain CRM Accuracy: Accurately document all outreach activities, lead information, and communications in the CRM (Salesforce or similar), ensuring the sales pipeline remains clean and organized.
  • Schedule Meetings: Set up qualified meetings or demos for Account Executives by engaging prospects and building interest in Everlights' permanent lighting solutions.
  • Hit Outreach Targets: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals (calls, emails, meetings set, etc.), consistently pushing to improve the number and quality of leads generated.
  • Stay Up to Date on Market Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and innovations in the lighting market to better position Everlights’ value proposition during prospecting efforts.


Key Duties:

  • Consistently reach out to a high volume of prospects daily through cold calls, emails, and social media, with the goal of building rapport and qualifying leads.
  • Effectively communicate Everlights’ value proposition to potential clients, aligning their needs with our product offerings.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads and ensure seamless transitions through the sales pipeline.
  • Regularly report on key performance metrics, including lead volume, conversion rates, and pipeline status.
  • Be an ambassador for Everlights’ brand, culture, and commitment to providing high-quality lighting solutions.


Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of sales experience in a prospecting or lead generation role, preferably in a B2B environment or with experience in D2H (Direct-to-Home) industries like Solar, Pest Control, or Home Security.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage prospects and communicate value quickly and effectively.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple outreach efforts simultaneously.
  • High level of motivation and resilience—comfortable handling objections and maintaining a positive attitude in a high-volume, fast-paced sales environment.
  • Experience using CRM software (Salesforce or similar) to manage leads and track outreach efforts.
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset, eager to contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
