The Accounting Specialist is responsible for primarily providing accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.

Responsibilities
- Complete full billing, processing, collection and disbursement cycles for HOA statements
- Prepares and maintains all HOA accounting records as directed
- Audit statement transactions
- Maintain regular and professional communication with owners in-regards to their statements/payments; relaying any operational matters to the HOA manager
- Assist with tax filing as directed
- Maintains strong communication with the Sales team in-regards to commissions
- Addresses and/or responds to all inquiries
- Performs special projects and other related responsibilities as assigned
- Acts with responsibility and confidentiality towards all company assignments, property, supplies, and equipment
- Assist with biweekly payroll as needed
- Attend meetings as requested
- Perform special/ad hoc projects and other related responsibilities as assigned
- Assist with maintaining fixed asset management of capital purchases as directed
- Assists Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Accounting as directed
- Assist with Income Audit team as directed
- Assists Accounting Manager, Assistant Director of Finance and Director of Finance with tasks or other work as assigned from time to time
- Provides general resort information for guests
- Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events and offerings

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to an indoor working environment and the noise level in the work place is usually low.
- Typical equipment used include but are not limited to computers, POS systems, handheld devices, phones and household cleaning supplies.
