About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join the Powertrain
Maintenance team and perform projects to improve the capabilities of the maintenance
department and line throughput. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of
electrical theory and schematics and be able to work independently and collaboratively to
ensure the systems are functioning efficiently.
Role/Responsibilities:
● Perform system testing and ensure all components are functioning properly
● Work with cross-functional teams to ensure all systems are integrated and functioning
properly
● Assist with troubleshooting system issues and identifying solutions
● Communicate regularly with senior engineers and other team members to provide
progress updates and receive feedback
● Participate in team meetings and contribute to team projects as needed
● Ability to read, create, and redline electrical schematics
Qualification:
● Field(s) of study: Engineering, or a related field
● Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited
university.
● Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD)
● Knowledge of system testing and integration processes
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
● Familiarity with small electronics diagnosis and repair
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $34 - $48 per hour.
