Key Responsibilities
- Assist in various pre-opening activities, including room and facilities punch inspections, and other intensive logistics and planning processes.
- Create a work culture that embodies respect, honesty, fairness, excellence, hard work, teamwork, empathy, caring and kindness.
- Maintain professional working relationships and promote open lines of communication with co-inspectors, team members, other departments, and 3rd party partners.
- Mentor team members through coaching and training opportunities
- Ensure proper usage and training of chemicals and equipment.
- Conduct daily inspections which uphold the Evermore standards for guest-ready accommodation. Inspection programs should be a tool to provide Team Member feedback for both reward and recognition and constructive feedback.
- Inspect housekeeping areas daily to ensure brand standards are being adhered to and the property is guest ready.
- Follow through special project schedules for all items needing to be completed on a rotational basis. Examples include, but are not limited to deep cleaning, pressure washing, carpet projects, etc.
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years’ experience in housekeeping at a high-volume resort or related professional area.
- Excellent eyes for details
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
- Excellent problem-solving skills utilizing data to support decisions.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Inspired always to lead Evermore brand and team member values.
- Self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to work various shifts or days of the week according to business needs.
- Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 25 pounds.
- Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically.
- Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside.
